    Hi

We advertise clearly what we support. Qtranslate is and was never a standard. As said with very little tweaks polylang will work also.

I know many themes not ours that dont support Qtranslate or QtranslateX because as said before of the problems that plugin caused and causes.

You bought a premium theme that supports WPML. Not Qtranslate(X). I cant change that. Had that plugin hook into the theme and wpml like polylang does it would have worked just fine. Since it does not and since it has its own way developed of how it believes multilanguage should be working we dont support that. Moreover Qtranslate has been abandonned and somebody picked it up changed the code and created QTranslateX. We should follow that? What if he believes after a year that he does not want to update anymore? We support a plugin of which we are sure that it will exist in the next couple of years and that it has good support in case of issues.

That you dont want to spend money on that i can understand but that can not be made our responsibility as we clearly advertise at our sales page what we support.

    Best regards,

As I always look for themes that have language support, I saw your WPML support notice. But all themes I bought, WPML support generally means it also support any other translation plugins, as polylang or Qtranslate X. Not your theme!!!.

I really doubt it is a good idea forcing your clients to use a paid third party plugin. Localization is important, and for best practices you only have to follow WordPress standards.

    Thank you,

    Hi

I am sorry we have no buildin support for qtranslateX or qtranslate within this theme.

You will need to recode the theme and write php code, html and css. If you dont know how to do that you can hire a coder at http://microlancer.net as we dont supply such service. But i can tell you its not a easy job as the templatebuilder (and the complete theme) is all wpml orientated.

We advertise at Themeforest that we support WPML and probably poly lang will work also with some small adjustments. Try and search for polylang on our forum if you want to go that way and recode the wpml code to match the polylang plugin. That is not hard todo.

Qtranslate has always been a big theme breaker and trouble maker. I cant unfortunately not assist you on this for which i aplologize.

    Hello everybody,

I am using the Polylang WordPress plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/polylang/
    and the theme RT-Theme 19.

I get a critical error and my WordPress is completely down:
Fatal error: Call to a member function get_current_language() on null in E:\Kunden\PontisPP\Live\wp-content\themes\rttheme19\rt-framework\functions\wpml_functions.php on line 16

    Could you please help?

Maybe you could provide a quick fix for this problem, it would help me a lot.

    Thank you!

    Best regards

    Hi

Try the tutorials section of the forum.

    http://support-rt.com/forums/forum/general/tutorials/

    http://support-rt.com/forums/topic/translating-themes-by-using-po-files/

For the frontend you need the wpml plugin with the string translation addon. Multilingual CMS

    https://wpml.org/purchase/

You might try the free polylang and rewrite the theme core files (search for polylang in the forum). There is a rewrite tutorial in the rt16 section.

    Hi

I just did a quick test with polylang. But i cant find any issues. Please explain what you mean by

, it negates the menus on all pages, not only in product pages.

In polylang you can create menus per language. It works fine in my testbed.
