i am using poly lang.

and i don’t want to buy wpml, i want to achieve my requirements by using polylang.

Hi there!

i want to set separate logos for separate languages.
Currently i am using 2 languages. Main language is English, And second language is Arabic.

Up to this point everything is working fine. but there is no option to separate logos for separate languages. as some other wordpress theme have.
I want to put arabic logo for arabic language, and keep english logo for english language.

Please guide me on that. or provide a css/html code to solve the problem.

Hi

You can build templates in any language and assign those to the translated pages. As templates can have static texts you need to build templates for those in each language. This way they are showing the correct text in any language.

But you have to use a static homepage as described before. So it is no different then with qtranslate i guess. But we have no supporting code in the theme for qltranslate.

Maybe try polylang? and search the forum for that. I know people are using it and modified some code.

Please consult the build in setup assistant for more details on the template builder and multi language or any other subject you need more information on as we did a fairly good job on writing out the help for this theme.

You need to buy the wpml plugin that adds that ability. http://wpml.org

Its a paid plugin which makes your website multilangual. You can try polylang which is free, but we dont support that plugin or issues with that plugin.

We say on our sales page at themeforest that we are only compatible with wpml multi language plugin. See the buildin setup assistant for more details on that.

You can find a couple of threads in the forum for polylang code fixes if you want to go that way. Just search for polylang.

The theme supports the paid version of the wpml plugin not the qtranslate. We only advertise that theme is compatible with wpml. The contact page has content that is available in the string translation add on of wpml. Qtranslate does not have such options or addons.

You might try polylang but your probably have to recode some theme core files. Search the forum for polylang and you will find a rt16 thread on how to recode.

Note any issues with none support plugins are not supported on the forum nor do we support issues caused by theme core file customizations.

Note Qtranslate is a abandonned plugin the successor is qtranslate-x but that is also not supported by the theme nor has it code to make translation of the theme settings available for that plugin.

You need to buy the wpml plugin as that is what we coded into the theme to make a website multilangual and have the language selector in the menu and sidebar. http://wplm.org

You could try the polylang plugin which is free but i doubt if that is 100% compatibel with the wpml code of the theme.

You can only do so by using the wpml plugin or polylang plugin. The latter might require some theme core changes as the theme is only 100% compatible with wpml. There are threads on ‘polylang’ in the forum.

If you want to add your own flags you will need to recode the theme core flags. But i cant support that unfortunately.

The flags (images) are coming from the wpml plugin. If you dont have that plugin it wont work. What you see in our demo are the flags from the wpml plugin. The links are just disabled because we did not want to translate the pages.

You can try polylang and maybe need to rewrite some wpml functions the has. You can search the forum on polylang.

Note: we dont support recoding of the theme core files. If you dont know how to code please hire a coder from http://microlancer.net as we dont have such service.

The flags come with wpml and the theme has only code to support wpml.

You can try polylang but be aware you might need to recode some theme core files. You can search the forum for “polylang” and follow the code adjustments suggested.

If you dont know how to code please hire a coder from http://microlancer.net as we dont provide such service nor do we support issues with plugins we dont mention at Themeforest as being theme compatible.

Then create translated portfolio posts. You can consult the polylang documentation on that.

Be aware the theme does not support polylang nor do we advertise it is compatible with that plugin. We never tested the working of it.
