    Hi Neo,
Polylang is installed now in my site.

You said the theme has no build in code for Polylang. Is that mean some modules such as ‘Contact Form’ can not have both Chinese and English version?

And for the same page with different language, the page template can not be different?

    Regards,
    Lisa

    Hi Lisa,

The theme supports wpml for multi language. There are other plugins like polylang and qtranslate but the theme has no build in code for those.

WPML does not do automatic translation by default. I cant help that it is not for free. However it will allow you to build multilanguage sites with own translated content and flag switching.

You also need the string translation addon and the widget logic plugin.

I cant help you out on this question i believe. I am sorry for this.

    Best regards,
    Neo

    Hi

you can expect support for the theme not for the plugins which are on the market. Because it is a premium theme it has coding which might not work with plugins written for the default wordpress themes. And we cant do anything about that. Otherwise it would not have been a premium theme.

You should tell those plugin builders to write plugins for premium themes which use advanced js and ajax scripts and custom classes.

but send me admin login details to [email protected] and i will take a quick peek.

pls include extensive details about where to look and a link to this thread.

    Best regards,
    Neo

Hi, thank you for your quick answer, but i must disagree with you…. this plugin works fine with other themes, not with RT-Theme 15. What could be the reason? You are selling PREMIUM themes, so Im awaiting some support and help for my money… What is difference with permalinks in your theme vs. other themes?

    Hi

do the permalinks work without that plugin? If so you will have to ask the polylang plugin builder. We cannot support every plugin which is on the market. The theme supports the wpml plugin.

if custom permalinks also not work without the polylang then pls contact your hoster if they allow mod rewrites by htaccess.

i really dont know how to help you.

    Best regards,
    Neo

    Hi

Sorry we have no experience with that plugin nor does the theme support that plugin. The theme supports the wpml language plugin.

the theme does not support static pages for homepage or blogpage.

    Best regards,
    Neo

I’m Using PolyLang plugin to create a multi-language website with the “RT-Theme 15” template and experiencing some difficulties.
From the plugin-settings menu I can only assign one page to be a Blog/Portfolio or Contact page.
When using multiple languages I need to assign multiple pages to be Blog or Contact page.

Is there a way (for example with a shortcode) to transform another ‘normal’ page to be a Blog/Portfolio or Contact page?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi

The theme supports wpml. Any other language plugin has not been tested or optimized for the theme.

So you will have to enable flag support by php coding and solve any problems that arise yourselves because we cannot support every language plugin thats is on the market.

It is simply not possible to support all the plugins that exist. It could be that it just works out of the box without any problem but if they did not follow the wordpress plugin coding conventions it could be that it wrecks your theme and or install completely.

so my advice. Make a backup (complete files, & database) or use a test install.

    Best regards,
    Neo
