PolyLang plugin has “de_DE_formal” format while Loco Translate has “de_DE”

You can’t translate theme strings with Polylang. But, Loco translate is a good choice!

If it still doesn’t work, please provide us a WP login by using the “Set as private reply” checkbox below the reply form, so we can check what’s wrong.

You need the cms version as it contains the string translation addon. But you can also use the free polylang plugin.

Hi

1) You can use the polylang plugin or wpml cms version. For wpml you need the cms version as that has the string translation addon you need. Polylang is free and has build in string translation support.

2) The login register button are from the woocommerce shop plugin. If you install that plugin you will get those buttons.

3) Change your permalinks to /%category%/%postname%/

4) you can turn off the comments in each page by enabling comments in the page screen options/settings below the admin name. I am lost on the logo. Please advice. To me it looks that no logo has been set.

As for the language flags you need to install a plugin like wpml or polylang in order to get that option available.
