The theme supports wpml and not polylang. We tried it a while ago and it worked then. But the answer is the same. The theme has not build in support for polylang.

You can apply the same trick on rt18 as we provided for rt16

You will have to manually change the \rttheme18\rt-framework\functions\wpml_functions.php following the example i gave for rt16 and add the global $polylang and change the if statement on the function you get the error on.

You can NOT copy over the file as been given by a link in that thread

The theme does not support the polylang plugin nor do we advertise that.

i cant help you on this. We dont support polylang and formidable and any issues caused by that.

You can try this solution for rt16 and change the wpml_functions.php accordingly for the function throwing your error.

I uploaded polylang for my theme, and I created a form using formidable plugin.
But there is an error saying:

Fatal error: Call to a member function get_default_language() on a non-object in /home/dornmetod.com/httpdocs/wp-content/themes/rttheme18/rt-framework/functions/wpml_functions.php on line 15

Do you have a clue about what I should do ?

Hi

You are using a very old version of wpml that is not compatible with wordpress 4.0 and rt18. Please by the correct recent version and or try the polylang plugin.

This plugin will never work in that version. You need the recent version + the string translation addon.

remember we dont support polylang. So the choice is yours if you want togo that way and issues arrise.

The theme does not work with polylang nor do we advertise that it does. It works with wpml with the string translation addon.
