IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: Fixing the slider issue
  • Hello,

    Recently jQuery released a new version (1.9) and they removed some older functions such as "browser". RT-Theme 16 HTML version is also using the function and that's why after the jQuery update websites using RT-Theme 16 lost some functionalities including accordion slider.

    There are two ways to fix the issue;

    1) Recommended way;

    Open your HTML files and replace this line

    <script type='text/javascript' src='http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1/jquery.min.js'></script>;

    with this one

    <script type='text/javascript' src='http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.8.3/jquery.min.js'></script>;

    2) OR, add the following jQuery codes top of the /js/scripts.js

    // Use of jQuery.browser is frowned upon.
    // More details: http://api.jquery.com/jQuery.browser
    // jQuery.uaMatch maintained for back-compat
    jQuery.uaMatch = function( ua ) {
    ua = ua.toLowerCase();

    var match = /(chrome)[ \/]([\w.]+)/.exec( ua ) ||
    /(webkit)[ \/]([\w.]+)/.exec( ua ) ||
    /(opera)(?:.*version|)[ \/]([\w.]+)/.exec( ua ) ||
    /(msie) ([\w.]+)/.exec( ua ) ||
    ua.indexOf("compatible") < 0 && /(mozilla)(?:.*? rv:([\w.]+)|)/.exec( ua ) ||
    [];

    return {
    browser: match[ 1 ] || "",
    version: match[ 2 ] || "0"
    };
    };

    matched = jQuery.uaMatch( navigator.userAgent );
    browser = {};

    if ( matched.browser ) {
    browser[ matched.browser ] = true;
    browser.version = matched.version;
    }

    // Chrome is Webkit, but Webkit is also Safari.
    if ( browser.chrome ) {
    browser.webkit = true;
    } else if ( browser.webkit ) {
    browser.safari = true;
    }

    jQuery.browser = browser;

    This fix will also be applied version 1.1 of the theme

    Best regards,
    Tolga Can
